Why should I take the vaccine?

I got COVID and I recovered, but I’ve been told I should get the vaccine anyway, “for the good of public health and safety.”

If everyone else gets the vaccine, but I and other don’t, what ramification(s) will come about from us being “anti-vaxxers” that will impact those who do get vaccinated.

There's no reason whatsoever at all, for you to get the vax. ESPECIALLY if you've already had COVID.

Because the CEOs of the companies making the vaccine and proifiting off them said you do & need them yearly. Why would they lie? What could they possibly have to gain?

I wouldn't. The greatest amount of damage possible was already done. Try to get a certificate of you already having it though. It will be helpful in the future, srs.

Imagine people guilt tripping you to take a vaccine for public health while they turn around and head to krispy kreme to get their free donut for being vaccinated.

LOL at people putting the safety of their health on other people's actions. Just imagine...

do you have any long term effect from Covid? I saw a few patients with spider webs looking tissue in their lung after some CT scan. They had covid last year. They seemed fine now but I'll never know if they are truly back to 100%.

Not that I can tell, but I haven’t gotten a check-up since. I still can lift without feeling tired, which was not possible when I had it. (shortness of breath for a week or so after flu-like symptoms)

Someone told me to vaccinate “because some diseases can be basically mitigated to non factor value if your population vaccinates regularly.” Also saying that not getting the COVID vaccine is a detriment to public health, and also puts at risk people who can’t take the vaccine “because of immune disorders.”

Are these actually legitimate claims?

Maybe wait for a couple of years, you've already built immunity since you've already recovered.
No need to rush anything now unless you're planning to travel overseas soon.

why don't you ask a healthcare professional instead of lifting bros on a message board?

Are you going to ask us for heart surgery advice too?

This is not a good reason to get it.

Why don't you talk to a doctor instead of a bunch of dumb , uneducated, redneck tradies on bb.com who will beg you not to take it?

I’m not hinging any decision on this lol. I’m set on deciding to wait until next year before I even consider taking it.

I’m just trying to get see some discourse about all of this from a place I know that has people who may have differing opinions of getting vaccinated, outside of the people I usually talk to.

bruh, go inquire about getting some sort of documentation for already having it, dead srs
if you do it now, you might be able to use it for travel in other countries, domestically and any other future chit they gonna add that'll require vaccination. if you have that document, you will have the same privileges. if you wait too long you might not be able to get it done anymore.

You can get an antibody test. Assuming it shows you have antibodies, who gives a **** if they are from the vax or from the actual 'rona.
