Xbox E3 2021

This is a thread for Xbox's E3. Streaming Live tomorrow at 1pm EST. I will update with the live video tomorrow, as well as bumping and updating the main thread as the show continues.

My low ceiling predictions:
-some sort of showing of Halo Infinite
-something about Starfield, releasing 2022
-Forza Horizon 5, looks amazing. Has had an extra year of development compared to previous entries. Forza Horizon 4 was a 92 metascore and a great Microsoft exclusive.

Well I can confirm that today's showcase was underwhelming, so I'm hoping that MS/Bethesda show off some good stuff tomorrow. I'm a PS5 fanboy, but also a PC gamer, so I'd expect a lot of those xbox games announced tomorrow to end up on PC as well.


The absolute most we should expect for Elder Scrolls is "maybe" a title. And that's it. That game isn't slated for release until like 2025.

yea dude Ubisoft's was garbage. Have decent hopes for MS's and Nintendo's. Only thing that interested me in Ubisoft's was the Mario and Rabbids sequel (the first is super good). Anticipating that game very much.

I'm not expecting anything elder scrolls. My prediction is a 2026/2027 launch for that game given that I expect Starfield in 2022.

You are good to go, at least anything MS published will be on PC too. Some games such as MS Flight Simulator hit PC before Console!

yea man, guess we will see tomorrow. I mean, I definitely expect a bunch of multiplayer stuff as well, not just campaigns.

I don't necessarily think AAA is better than smaller developers either.

A new Horizon game would have me pretty stoked. Have pretty much-done everything with the included expansions from the last one and am a bit burnt out on it.

Seeing some new Halo gameplay and some more of Zero Dark would be cool too.

Hellblade 2 seems a bit far off but it was easily the best story game I played on last gen so I'm pretty pumped for that.

Would love to see gameplay from Rares new game and Hades coming to Xbox too.

I'm hoping for Disawowed but I doubt they'll have anything to show, same for Fable.

Xbox is saying all the right stuff, and has been ever since Slick Phil came aboard. But for how many years have we been saying the games are coming? When will they come? That Starfield tease makes me think it's 5-10 years out.... And still may be as bad as Fallout 76 when it finally hits. Maybe next gen Xbox is actually competing with Sony when it comes to games.

Well they announced it for 11/22/22 so I don’t think it’s that far out.

And I think it’s clear they have actually been taking positive action as well.
