There a chance nothing will happen if you don't go or depending on your state and judge, you could get rape tenderly as well via fines and etc. Next time when you get a summon, just put down you're busy and schedule a few days before christmas.

Got a jury duty letter too a couple months ago
Was on Saturday morning on my only day off

Said fk that and never showed . So far no repercussions...as they couldn't even confirm I received the letter .

if they dont send the letter certified mail they cannot confirm you even received it and mail gets lost/delivered to wrong addresses all the time

however if it is ever sent certified, you best show up
