Personally I'd probably put it back in my house, but mainly because our market is strong right now and I'm getting probably 8-10% per year on it. Tough to beat that.

A crypto hail mary with a couple grand isn't too bad an idea. Find a financial advisor and have them manage your money for you.

20k total?

Probably 10k CD as emergency fund. Less if you live with parents. Then put other 10k in VTI or some other total market ETF

20k side money? Then put 20k in a market tracking etf

You don’t have the money or knowledge to **** with commodities, options, crypto, or single stocks right now. But that will come in time. Build your base first in both $$$ and knowledge. Anyone telling you otherwise here doesn’t have your best interest at heart srs

I put $400k in a managed investment account last month.

I'll let someone far smarter than me figure it out for 1.02%.

You know what I would do if I had 20 k to invest? I would invest half of it in low risk mutual funds and then take the other half over to my friend Asadulah who works in securities...
