This is a tv show on netflix that extrapolates on the beta bux alpha f*cks thing

Yeah dude i've experienced something similar - the love is stronger than any drug imaginable so the regular 'marriage' stuff doesn't last when you meet that special person.

The only thing though is that for the love to continue flowing you literally need to change your whole life and personality, because you can't love your partner totally and have hate in your heart.
