Want to get blood work done. What should i ask for?

Edit: natty and wish to remain natty. Not looking to do this for cell tech reasons

Been stalling in the gym for years. Im natty. Best lifts are atg squat 455x1, RDL 445x6 i think, incline DB 100x7, pullups +80lbs x 7 i think

Now i seem to be stuck at 90’s x 7 incline, 405x8 RDL, 50x6 chin ups (not even pull ups) what gives. And i mean ive been at this level for like 5 years. Im not as consistent and animalic in the gym as i used to be in college, but after 5 years i would think i would break past these plateaus anyway

What do i ask for? Ive seen someone say something about getting checked for heavy metals too.

Reps for good info

This and make sure they also include estrogen... rather important as it can offset the effects of other hormones more valuable tj your goals... mitigating their benefit. While also coming with downsides

There is a 6th one I’m almost certain but I seem tj be drawing a blank...

Due note that it’s kinda important regardless ti have your e2 checked? But especially if you’re on cell tech... as the deleterious effects are likely to be far more pronounced and the likelihood of there being inconsistencies in your blood work.

Note that estrogen is the base and via processes like 5-alpha recuctase? Testosterone can easily convert itself into estrogen... diet, fluid intake, metabolic function, etc can all have their impact on the conversion via this process

Due note that with regards tj shgb? You’re likely to only notice issue whilst involving compounds like tr

I mean don’t go tj doctors like aluminum cuz they’ll try tj act like they know but have no fucjibg clue

Brb googling to see if I missed the 6th

Fsh. Das it... it’s associated with lutenizing hormones or linked

Cuz ugh in males your body produces testosterone two ways adrenal glands and Via the nootsack. The nootsack works on a bio feedback loop... lutenizing hormones are what signals the testicles tj produce testosterone. Which is why that in some instances whilst on trt therapy or going to a clinic their avenue of addressing the issue? Will be tj try tj stimulate production via human chorionic gonadotropin... rather than exogenous replacement therapy

Women only produce testosterone in their adrenal glands as they obviously do not have a nootsack...

Did you know that’s how the average run of the mill birth control determines pregnancy? A female post fertilization? Will excrete heightened levels of lutenizing hormone and this is registered as a positive result on the test for preggers when past a certain cut off level? Of course more ways to test for pregnancy than heightened lh levels yet the most cost efficient way for it tj be done

Every single thing. Test, liver enzymes, cholesterol, blood sugar, Thyroid function, etc. Be honest with him about how you're feeling, and your concerns and ask for a total workup.

If you're paying for it out of pocket, just buy a female hormone panel. It covers more than the male panel and will include everything people have outlined here.

Unless you're extremely low, your natural test levels measured acutely will give you almost no insight into your ability to build muscle.

Besides the hormone panel, CBC, metabolic, Thyroid, lipids. Those will give you a good start. If you seen anything out of line there, you can get additional testing to search for a possible root cause.

If your goal is to get a prescription from some everyday primary care physician with these bloods, then good fuarking luck.

The pharmaceutical companies keep funding studies that keep driving the reference range down. They legit just paid for a study to include fat ass men to bring the numbers down. ded fkn srs. These companies want you to buy their expensive meds to treat the symptoms instead of addressing the actual problem.

It used to be <350 was considered low. Then it was <300. Now that chit is like <260. They don't factor in age into the equation either. If you're in your twenties with numbers in the 300s, you're low as fak.

At those lifts, I can tell you that you're over the 260 number.

Best bet is to see an endocrinologist that specializes in men's health. Most PCPs don't know chit about this area.

Here's a useful guide to this stuff:https://www.auanet.org/guidelines/gu...ency-guideline

Go to lef.org and order your blood work. LEF emails you an order form that you take into any LabCorp to be drawn. You get results emailed to you in 7-10 days. Super simple. Been doing it twice a year for 10 years now.
