Washington did not do any of the fighting himself, but he did have slaves and troops under his command.

However, he does get all the credit for the Revolution.

Well the men were heavily motivated by Washington and would not have fought with passion of he wasnt in command.

I see your end point, but notsherrifsrs about Washington not doing any of the fighting....he had TWO horses shot out from under him in battle, narrowly avoided death a few times in battle (had four bullet holes in his loose fitting overcoat) and was a huge morale boost on the battlefield. The fact that he was able to corral and lead such a diverse group in the first place is a testament to his leadership ability. They don't make leaders like that anymore.

George Washington was known to be at least a 6’ 3” beast who wasn’t afraid of anything and participated in multiple battles. He was known to even have a “reality distortion field” due to his ability to ride into battle without fear of getting hit by bullets.

I’m not bullchitting you, this guy loved battles and loved the idea of bullets whizzing past. He was also tall and had charisma that bent and altered reality.

George Washington is probably one of the most badass motherfukers to ever walk the Earth. He was a disgusting monster that changed the shape of the entire world’s history and headed the most powerful empire to ever exist.

Great show, and the guy who played Washington was incredible. Loved the scene where Lafayette tells him an alliance with the French is imminent.
