Stop the steal in GA getting jewcy (Oh lawd)

Was cruising through RCP, which I usually never do, because of all the fake news they post, and came across this gem by The Federalist:

New Evidence Indicates Enough Illegal Votes In Georgia To Tip 2020 Results
https://thefederalist.com/2021/07/09...lAqtRg.twitter

A few excerpts for thee:
New evidence indicates that more than 10,300 illegal votes were cast in Georgia in the November 2020 general election — a number that will continue to rise over the next several months, potentially exceeding the 12,670 votes that separated Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
When Davis ran the data, he found that, of the approximately 35,000 Georgians who indicated they had moved from one county to another county more than 30 days before the November general election, as of May, more than 10,300 had updated their voter registration information, providing the secretary of state the exact address they had previously provided to the USPS. Those same 10,000-plus individuals all also cast ballots in the county in which they had previously lived.
Evans, who holds the distinction of being the only lawyer in Georgia history to successfully overturn two elections in the same race, concurred. Under Georgia law, Evans explained, “an election should be overturned either if (1) more votes than decided the election were illegal, wrongfully rejected or irregular, or (2) when there were systemic irregularities that cast in doubt the results of the election.”

“In the case of the 2020 general election,” Evans told me, Davis’s analysis indicates both factors could have been in play.

This. Still counts towards the state.

Their votes aren't getting removed and Biden still won the state.

The latter. They voted in the wrong jurisdiction, which Davis is making the argument it should cancel their votes.

As of now that error has occurred over 10k times, but it most likely will eclipse the small margin Biden won the state by.

12k is very thin.

Doesnt matter, then. Why would that cancel their votes? If through a technicality, I dont support it.

I honestly don't care about that topic that much. The headline just stood out to me, because there is still a large group of posters here who post about it.

Elections don't matter to me. All smoke and mirrors.

Until I can donate millions to candidates, and other election functions, then I'll start to care lol.

I just thought the article was funny. But, if you read through it, the author states that even if the errored ballots eclipse the 12k mark nothing is going to happen, in regards to the 2020 election.

The legal arguments are just academic.

For arguments sake, what if it proves that they were ballots cast by other people?

Edit- After reading the article it was clear they had voted in the wrong county, not voted twice. Capitalizing on this technicality to throw out votes is not something
I support.
Voting in the wrong county is not a technicality. If you're too stupid to follow the rules in something as simple and straight forward as voting then your vote should be thrown out.

This chit isn't rocket science.

I wonder how many TRUMP ballots were rejected previously for "wrong jurisdiction"

The only reason why I would agree is if it effected local elections within that precinct they were at.

I have a question regarding these ballots cast in the wrong drop box. Did these ballots only vote on the presidential election or did these same ballots vote for local officials as well?

Nope. No technical nonsense. Audit it. If it's fraud it's fraud.

If dems outhustled the rules this time, so be it. It's Republicans fault for letting it happen.

Just guessing, but I think the reason a person originally had to vote at a specific location is so the voter could be matched up against their name on the voter roles. In other words, the whole purpose of the laws requiring you to vote at a particular location were to prevent fraud. Assuming there is a system in place to verify someone is who they claim to be I have no problem with people voting at someplace other than their assigned location.

That said, the laws as they exist on election night have to be enforced. I am absolutely in favor of throwing out illegal votes on a technicality. We can't ignore laws that are inconvenient, instead we should get them fixed. If someone can decide on a whim they are justified in ignoring one law, what's to stop them from ignoring another? Who gets to decide what qualifies as a "technicality"?

Edited to add: Regardless of the outcome of the audits, I'm not in favor of changing the outcome of the election even with incontrovertible evidence because there is no legal way to do it. I do hope the audits identify changes that need to be made for future elections.

What if the Republicans wanted this to happen?

What if the Republicans worked with the Dems to remove the People's right to self-determination?

What if this election was not a battle between political parties but a battle between the American People and the Enemy of the American People?
