Misc aquarium experts Got my first aquarium (bluegills, 29gal)
So I bought a 29 gallon aquarium and dechlorinated it and cycled it and all that stuff. I got a couple chichlids and they both died in a day.
Yesterday I decided to catch my own aquarium fish. I caught about 30-35 bluegills most of them 6-7” plus which were too big.
I managed to catch 4 in about the 3-4.5” range and they’re doing well in my new tank now. I’m planning to move up to a 55 gallon or bigger soon. I want red tailed sharks and bullheads, etc... and I have a 60 day warranty on this tank.
How fast will these bluegill grow before I need to rehome them? The pet store says one inch per gallon but I’ve read that’s way too small.
