In on badly disguised advert thread
brb haven’t met one vaxcel who doesn’t get defensive or mad when you tell them you didn’t get it.

No “vax” for HIV after 40 years of research. No vax for cancer after 100 years of research. No vax for the common cold and yet a virus mysteriously appears and Within 12 months a “vax” is found by 4 pharma companies all within 1 week and we are mandated to take it ….

Why the fuk wouldn’t you use used dry split peas?

Ham hock on bone, water, split peas, bay leaf or whatever

Why would you want to dilute it with over processed canned garbage. Srs.

I love my 6qt instant pot.
I make foil packet salmon and rice pilaf at the same time.
I’ve also been making kielbasa sausage and lentil soup.
Hard boiled eggs galore.
Best kitchen gadget I’ve ever purchased.

Instant Pot is the GOAT. My favorite things to cook in the instant pot are lamb/chicken curry's, gumbo, jambalaya, chili. If you want to level up your cooking gains, make your own chicken and beef stock in the instant pot and freeze it. The IP requires enough liquid to get up to pressure, so you will have a lot of recipes that require broth/stock.

Homemade stock crushes anything you can get at the grocery store. Just save up old chicken/beef bones and vegetable trimmings, then throw it all in the IP with seasonings like rosemary, thyme, oregano, parsley, garlic, salt, pepper, fill with water, then pressure cook on full pressure for two hours. When finished, strain out the bones/vegetables from the liquid, and you will have some bomb ass stock you can use in future recipes.

I mainly got it for soup. Split pea, jambalaya, bisque, clam chowder, turkey chili... it's amazing. And I will try your tip at the end. Thanks. I'd rep but can't lol
