2 episodes in and how can you tell that this show was made by foreigners?

its animated and on netflix. its not good but im curious if other people noticed what made it obvious that it was made by the japanese.

its got an adult male protagonists for starters. No forced diversity. The hero isnt a teen girl mary sue, at least not so far
