Escaping clown world, have you got the money?
There are businesses and prepper/survivalist companies who specialize in doomsday prep and setting up off-grid properties for the right price.
I'm no conspiracy theorist, but something tells me in about another decade there will be a lot of chit. A lot of chit. So I've been in contact with a few people, and for around 60k all up, you can get set up with a reasonable off-grid living set up, with renewable sources for food, water and energy. Plus, add in your own guns and bows for hunting.
That's around half of my net worth ATM, so do you think it is worth dropping on the escape from clown world? Bear in mind this is isn't a full-fledged bunker so it can't as of yet, survive a total apocalypse like a nuclear exchange or asteroid strike.
What prep have you done?

People have been so comfortable to decades that they cannot fathom the idea of true government tyranny....it's happening right now under the guise of 'covid'
Mass food shortages are coming our way, be prepared - stock up on sacks of rice and pasta, anything to help you get by srs

You know there are people who spent tons of money in the 60's...then again before 2000's, building bunkers and prepping and most of their schit is now useless. Who tf wants to survive anyway. Fuk that

It's a huge amount of planning ahead of time, but it can be done. A friend of mine has a fishing yacht which could survive for years at sea with enough fuel.

I would not mind an acre with some off-grid capacity, sure. I'm just talking a decent home garden, maybe some chickens, not full fledged mountain man stuff, not for me. I do have about 60 days worth of food that will last 20+ years and water purifiers. Also a couple guns and ammo. Actually I'm an FFL and have access to quite a few guns, but personal use I have three pistols and a revolver. Only about 200 rounds lying around, should probably stock up but it's hard to find it these days.
The government is moving in an unpleasant direction but not nearly as much as other countries like Australia, Britain, New Zealand and such. We'll see there chit hit the fan first if things don't speed up here or something. I'm also wary of inflation and shortages, sure. The 70s weren't that long ago.

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

In 20-30 years that 60k investment would be worth alot more, and you have peace of mind knowing you have a secure bunker if chit hits the fan
do it
once 3d printing becomes perfected theres no need for a massive population
If i was a US citizen i'd buy some land/hut & kayak near anchorage or in the forests of montana keep it secure low key set up some trap lines srs

You've spent the last year shilling for Democrats (even though your Australian), then a few days ago you make a thread calling out the liberal media for their Covid propaganda, and now you you're calling out clown world?
Are you seeing the light?

Thirdly, there's nothing wrong with prepping and survivalism no matter the degree to which the world gets clowned. I got into this right after, out of nowhere, my house got by a hurricane, reducing it to basically an opened tuna tin, where I would have starved if not for a resourceful neighbour.

You can buy land and a self sufficient house for 60k?
A young bull and an old bull were standing atop a hill looking at a bunch of heifers in a field below.
The young bull says "Let's run down this hill and fuk one of those heifers."
The old bull replies "No. Let's walk down there, and fuk them all."

I have a "plan B" but its well off of American soil , started as a early retirement plan but has evolved into a "might need to GTFO" starter kit..
But I have a good friend of mine who's father in law started prepping about 10y ago. Has a lot of land but to date the only people who know where it is and how to get to it are him & his wife. His FIL has briefly discussed his exit strategy and how he will convey the location to his kids and their significant others when or if the time comes. I am sure it sounds like crazy talk to most people but those are also the people who always think it can never happen to them... only see their fragile little world through rose colored glasses. If you have the disposable income to set yourself up why wouldn't you? Even if its just purchasing land somewhere out in the middle of nowhwere , USA ... if you never use it for that think of the ROI years down the road

either die straight away in an imperceptible way or die a much worse death 1-24 months after civilization has collapsed. No modern luxuries, no medical equipment, running into other weirdos who decided to prep and are more likely to kill you than help you, be in total isolation from other human contact, every day is a constant struggle for survival, no real knowledge of how to survive
