They would ask periodically that you provide certain information about your company to them or occasionally obtain information from other departments

TALLINN, Estonia—Chinese military intelligence recruited an Estonian national working at a NATO research institution focused on maritime and submarine research, The Daily Beast has learned.

The spy, Tarmo Kõuts, renowned in the Estonian scientific community for his research, was convicted last week and sentenced to three years in prison. The Baltic country’s intelligence services had warned for years of the growing Chinese threat, but the conviction was the first of its kind. So far, Estonia’s counterintelligence service, known domestically by its acronym KAPO, has been praised for its success in catching spies recruited and run by Russia.

Inna Ombler, the prosecutor handling the case confirmed that Kõuts earned €17,000 -- a little over $20,000 -- for his espionage, which the Estonian government has since seized from him.

Difference is i'm not frauding and i've proved it numerous times.

Reality is its actually closer to 1/13th but I sided with the low estimate since I've been a little slow last few months.

Absolutely not.

Also I was accused of being a Russian spy in 2019 and didn't get a damn thing out of it. Funny that they used my $750k in real estate debt as a reason I was potentially a spy and then got me fired from a 6 figure job. If anything it would have made more sense to flip after being fired to replace my income. Bunch of fking retards. srs

Working for a defense contractor, this is legit a big deal - in fact we have a system for reporting these things.

Answer is no. Regardless of how I feel about anything else or the amount of money they offered me - I know next to nothing about information security and just assume that if I did something nefarious, I would be caught easily. Plus you really can't trust the other side isn't going to rat you out anyway at some point. so no.

I was working for AFOSI on some stuff.

The building had an interrogation room and I was interrogated by the deputy special agent in charge. I assume the SAIC and the criminal psychologist were behind the 2-way glass. There was an active duty agent taking notes.

I was accused of all sorts of things. Reading documents I didn't have access to, going through peoples desks, bragging about stealing media. None of which is true. I have never questioned my own sanity more than I did after working there.

They interrogated my wife as well and when nothing came of that an abuse claim came out of nowhere. Our gun was taken and we were forced to attend counseling since she was active duty. They pushed for continued resolutions despite my wife saying that nothing had actually happened. Recently my car was broken into and nothing was stolen so I assume it was to look for spare keys.

At this point I assume even this thread is bait. It's exhausting.
