Anyone have inverted Seasonal Affective Disorder? (srs)
It feels this way to me
Always feel really down in the dumps summer time, but mood is best in the winter months
Hate how hot it gets here in the summer time, can't sleep as well (even with A/C can't get my bedroom to ideal sleeping temp), avoid going outside cause of the heat and humidity, get sunburned really easily, clothes get soaked in sweat, body odor, sunscreen on skin making it even hotter and gross
When winter rolls around, brb turn off heat and open window to sleep like a corpse, actually enjoy going outside and doing chit, can layer up if needed, comfortable and no sweat, tap water cold enough to do contrast bathing

NOT AT ALL. Never even heard of inverted SAD. I get legit depressed in late December every year. Actually got tested this year and my vitamin d level was severely low. Felt better when I got that sorted out.
Crushed an early morning hard ride, spent the day at the pool with the kids, soaking up the rays, grilled some steak for dinner, literally couldn't be happier.

Where I live the summers are almost as bad as florida, high heat and high humidity, heat index going over 100 degrees common
The winters are fairly chilly but not as bad as chicagos for example

I'm as pale as a ghost so I probably get enough vitamin D from just a little bit of exposure to overcast weather lol

I get SAD twice per year in my city (Montreal).
Summers can get way too hot (40C / 104F) and winters can get way too cold (-40C / -40F), and I don't want to leave my house for months at a time. I don't need heat stroke or frostbite in my life. Spring and Fall are when I thrive

Going to miss the Winters up here, snows pretty heavily.
I can appreciate each season in a different way, the seasons don't really mess with me.
But the GOAT season for me is the Summer, 100F+ degrees with the sun out and a clear sky just feel very alive and in my natural state.

Looks like Europe, reminds of those Spanish towns in Latin America.

brb haven’t met one vaxcel who doesn’t get defensive or mad when you tell them you didn’t get it.
No “vax” for HIV after 40 years of research. No vax for cancer after 100 years of research. No vax for the common cold and yet a virus mysteriously appears and Within 12 months a “vax” is found by 4 pharma companies all within 1 week and we are mandated to take it ….
