Yeah you actually start feeling smaller because of the body dysmorphia lol

It's your mind wanting you to keep getting bigger and not settle for mediocrity. Mamba spirit.

Can only benchpress the bar as a male adult? Prob hypogonadal or swimming in feminism, soymilk , and bpa's.

I benched bar +10lb plate and squatted 300lb (max) as the shortest kid in my middle school strength & conditioning class.

Everyone goes through mental ups and downs. Acknowledging something that caused mental distress in a younger version of you is healthy and a good way to grow. However, we should still at least get 150min of cardio in every week as adults to keep up with heart-health, and eating clean shouldn't be seen as "dieting" but rather the standard of how to eat IMO. Eating clean @ TDEE and simply doing 30min of cardio every day will get you really far when it comes to heart healthand aesthetics.

He's blaming lifters that he fell off the deep end, but the fact is is that he could hardly bench the empty bar. When your're that weak you should be doing something about it.

Even moreso the dude needs to work on his thin skin and stop being easily lead.

Cliffs:
Impressionable teenagers should not be exposed to the cell-tech driven fitness industry that is filled with fake natties.
Body dysmorphic disorder is real.
Bodybuilding attracts mentally ill people.

It's like a dude with a 6" peen that watches too much pron but never seens a peen in real life. He starts to get feelings of inadequacy despite being at or above average because all he sees are large peens.

all this crap about counting macros, eating 6 meals a day, obsessively lifting to become jacked/ripped is stupid. nobody in the real world cares about your physique, as long as you aren't fat.

unless you are a professional athlete and you get paid to do it, then bodybuilding is a complete waste of time.
I had a similar experience I found misc when I was in highschool and all the dyel stuff and misc standards kinda ****ed with my head but tbh when I’m taking lifting to serious is when I’m the happiest I enjoy being that ******* who measures his chicken breast and never eats with friends it gives purpose in a bleak world

thankfully when i started college i got over that crap and i finally learned to enjoy myself. i partied and drank a lot and had big social circles. but then that caused other problems in my life, such as alcoholism and weight gain.
you know that makes absolutely no sense right? The all or nothing mentality is what makes people have massive gains in a short amount of time. I highly doubt you stayed committed to an all or nothing mentality and stuck with the "all " part. My guess is the all or nothing mentality was All on the weekday and then nothing on the weekend.

I focused on all or nothing for years and I am where I am now and you are where you are now and we look totally different. The big difference is I ate cookies and fatty BBQ and pancakes this weekend and didnt feel guilty because i worked my ass off to get to this point in life where I can enjoy weekends and still look ridiculous. The problem with people who get fat and ugly is they think they deserve free weekends starting at week 1. They have no discipline and resolve to actually make changes in their life.

You just pretty much gave up and took the LDAR route, its not something you accomplished or should be proud of. I am not hating on you for it, its a choice which can come with fun and adventures but dont fool yourself that you took the easy way out not some enlightened decision to better your life and become an obese alcoholic.

Will watch the whole thing later

Him referencing scooby really brought me back. I remember being in grade 10 and searching up how to get a thicker chest without even knowing what the chest muscles are or anything like that. Found scooby’s vids and he said it took him 17 YEARS to get his chest where it was then. I was like u fawkin wot m8, that’s longer than I’ve been alive (at the time)

Now it’s like 10 years later and I still feel like my chest is lagging lol
