So is this a guy who became a woman or vice versa? If it's the former, that seems unfair. Imagine having the XY chromosome and all the biological advantages that comes with (i.e., speed, strength, etc) and competing against biological females.

If it's the other way around, seems like a biological disadvantage in that case.

the common arguments are

- muh discrimination against transgenders
- if you just do this hormone therapy for a year or however long, chop your dink off, you will be the equivalent to a woman
- well if mtf have such a huge advantage, why are they not winning gold medals left and right? I mean Hubbard dropped out right! She was the worst out of all the women!


all of these arguments are garbage, won't even address the first one for obvious reasons. Second can easily be refuted because if a kid goes through puberty, bone density and structure changes as well as naturally gaining muscle. Not to mention all the training you do as male, in which you benefit from better work capacity and better results. Third point can be simply refuted as how many transgenders are there in the population? Less than 1%? How many of them are actually into sport and training to be olympians? He has a 285kg total in which in an equivalent male weight class would not even come close to a WR of 488kg. In fact a 55kg man with the WR has a higher total than him. The fact that he is 43 years old competing in weightlifting is laughable in a sport where if you are over 30 you are considered over the hill and washed up, unless ofc you Lu Xiaojun.

It must be this specimen was a biological female born a male who transitioned into a female and is now playing on the male team. Or is it a biological male who transitioned to a female but had breast augmentation surgery and is now playing on the woman’s team. No wait I think it’s a biological female who is now a male but didn’t go through any surgical procedures and is still playing on the female team despite thinking it’s a male.
