Fuark bros 1st Pfizer vaccine dose tomorrow.

I'd be lying if i said i wasn't worried of any immediate health complications, fuarkkk. Will update my results, if no update assume i'm dead, love you brahs.

I've been against the covid vaccine for over a year, my siblings are also against it. -(I don't support mandatory vaccines btw)

I've spent the past 2 weeks considering this & researching this topic.

What I believe is the majority of anti vaccination rhetoric stems from failed institutions and politically incentivized communication (media).

What pushed me to get the vaccine wasn't the risk of dying from covid.

To me it was the reasonable conclusion of:

1. You're more likely to suffer in the short term far worse from covid than if you were vaccinated.
2. You're putting people with vulnerable immune systems who are unable to get vaccinated at risk of dying.
3. You're allowing the virus the opportunity to mutate much quicker.

at the end of the day i believe it's a personal choice, and the long term effects of non-vac/vac are 50/50. But what we do know currently it makes a lot of reasonable sense to get the vaccine and trust the experts.

It's okay bro, out of 100's of millions of doses only about 5 million people have had negative life-changing reactions, assuming they didn't die. You will be fine.

1. False, very few people have severe covid or long term effects.
2. False, being vaccinated does not protect others, and actually has caused the virus to spread more quickly.
3. False, vaccinated people allow the virus to mutate into vaccine-resistant strains, aka Delta Variant.
