the lack of nuance is amazing in all of this

its not either yes or no

i had COVID long before vaccinations got over it after 2 weeks of fatigue and moderate shortness of breath, no other symptoms, perfectly fine after 3 weeks

had a positive antibody test 7 months later so i feel i am good to go

however if i never had it and felt like i was in a vulnerable group i would likely take the shot,

if i never had it but was in a non vulnerable group ( which i am) i would not take it

however i had No fckn choice but to survive or die as there was nothing available anyway at the time which probably applies to billions

Another one who probably cries fat discrimination. Sadly the UK like the US has in recent decades gone down the route of eating ridiculous amounts of crap-usually takeaway & ready meals, added on top of their smoking habit & going down the pub/getting blotto at home, throw in a general lack of exercise & it is no wonder obesity costs the NHS some ridiculous sum of money & people are having amputations & dying pretty young. Being a healthy weight & moderate exercise like walking is the best defence you can have against Covid & disease generally, but let's put all our faith in blood pressure tablets, weight loss gimmicks, other medicines, vaccines etc & just carry on stuffing our faces with 5-10 times the amount of calories we need every day instead. The guy actually had the right attitude-problem is his body likely couldn't cope due to his lifestyle choices over many decades. This porker is out there bleating, but has zero intention of dropping several stone.

I always LOL at people who won't get the jab but then demand steroids, remdesivir, etc. once they get sick... IMO we should not waste scarce healthcare resources (meds, ventilators, ICU rooms, etc.) on those who did not get vaccinated.
