This will happen more and more with the covid mandates killing small businesses. So many mom and pop restaurants got hosed last summer where I live... landlords can't evict people for not paying rent, yet i bet they don't get a break from paying their mortgage.

Take away everything people have been working for their entire live and they're gonna reach a point where they snap

It’s a really hard time. Do keep in mind though that evicting a tent that’s not paying is -very much - not the same as getting a new paying tenant.

I don’t know about you, but where I live there is a “for rent” sign in front of every apartment complex. That wasn’t the case pre-covid.

Willing to bet we're going to see more of this in the coming months... quite frankly, I'm surprised it hasn't already happened on a mass scale. Small mom&pop landlords have been getting robbed for almost 18 months now.

Everybody has their breaking point, you can't just keep ripping people off and pushing them around, eventually they're gonna retaliate.
