Mirin my dinner misc?

On vacation at Kiawah Island and went into Charleston today. Shout out to OT2000 for the recommendation. It did not disappoint.

Had a bomb ribeye and potatoes on kiawah last night. Was 10/10. But was craving a lobster roll while here. Chips and guac, and the other stuff is some crab dip curry for misc indian brothers, and the other dish was some potato variation.

Wasn't bad jeff. Had a local lager while I was there too not pictured. Wish I could have had about 4 or 5 more though.

Was close to ordering some oysters haven't had any in years. But we were all full after all the appetizers. Regret not ordering them now though.

Went around 4:30 and there was already an hour wait. A lady walked up and made a reservation right after us and said that it's usually around a 3 hour wait around that time. Place is very popular for good reason. The vibe was great.

mirin location but there are way better places to dine at in Charleston if you know what to look for. then again if you were just in the mood for something casual and not more upscale then you probably chose a good place to eat at.

For a great upscale place I enjoyed Halls Chophouse. Great bourbon selection and some killer steaks. Some upity fukers though. I walked in wearing shorts and a t-shirt and they looked at me like I was crazy.

They called it Bomba Potatoes. And the other plate was called oven roasted crab dip, with some curry flavoring in it. Wasn't the biggest fan of either, but they weren't bad by any means. The guac and lobster roll are what I dug into the most.

Yeah, we didn't really do any upscale dining this trip. We had a reservation here on Kiawah at "The Atlantic Room", but we ended up not going. It's supposed to be more upscale where you have to dress up a little.

Can't wait to come back and try out more places. We leave in the morning.
