Greg Doucette goes full potato and claims diet soda is healthier than water

If he had said that diet sodas are good for curbing your cravings when trying to lose weight I would agree but I don't possibly see how this leads to the conclusion that diet soda>water. Honestly don't understand why anyone takes this manlet seriously.

Dunno if repost but search function is broken, soooooo...

can confirm pepsi max is 97% of my fluid intake and has aspartic acid (essential amino acid) while providing a benefit (keeping your teeth moist with and bacteria can't grow on splenda)

water has none of that benefit and is possibly contaminated with led

Aren't these sugar free sodas like coke zero and pepsi max basically the same as water except they have flavouring and aspartame in them?

So how the fuk does that make them healthier than water lol.

I'm sure they're way healthier than the regular sodas with 35+ grams of sugar though.

No offence brah but I don't think you should be handing out dieting advice, according to your bodyspace you're 5'7 210 30% bf.

I read average cup of cola is like 26g of sugar per cup, damn that's like over 6 teaspoons of sugar per cup.

Used to drink soda regularly when I was younger. Stopped completely in my mid-20s and lost 15 pounds in a month without changing anything else. Still tastes better than the diet sodas do though.

And you think I care about what a muscleless twink like you who posts about Diet Coke in the Politics season has to say?

Maybe you should try lifting instead of watching random YouTube videos but I understand that’s difficult notion to comprehend with your room temperature IQ

so many fcking idiots ITT he said it works better at controlling appetite than water based on studies he quoted not that it was healthier per se, now if drinking a zero calorie diet drink stops you from binging a bar of chocolate or a drinking a full fat 300 calorie coke better than a glass of water then it's a good thing if you are trying to lose weight.

like anything in life no one says you should drink gallons of the chit but if one now and then helps you stay on track then why not?

Some miscers still have a brain i see. Everyone else is missing the point.

So many diets nowaday consist of drinking water and nothing else with your meals, some "dietitians" out there and old school trainers really believe that diet soda is the devil and can still make you fat. If there's anything that has helped me stick to my diets is diet soda srs, that **** will end your sweet cravings will filling you up with the gas, making it easier for you to reach your goals.

Some have caffeine too which will keep you more active as opposed to water that just feels like a vacuum is forming in your stomach when you drink it while hungry. A fat person going on a diet will benefit from having diet soda multiple times per day, as opposed to only water.
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

sample size was 300 fatties.

low sample size and you really trust 300 fatties to self report their habits accurately for a year? You really think the other group only drank water and no other drinks for a year.

lmao

people have no ****ing idea how to analyse studies. Vegans living longer than meat eaters without factoring in lifestyle factors like smoking, drinking etc... The 'scientists' performing the studies are just as bad many times because they don't even bring this up
