Tropical Storm Henri - New England Bros - Pepper Thy Angus

Mother nature wants to let us know how she feels about us ****ing around with stuff, and she wants us to find out.

Henri has been starting to show a movement to the west with a potential ULL setting up in Canada that can drive this right into New ENgland.

Mexico gonna get it way harder, most likely twice by the same hurricane. RIP North America. And that's just the start of the season.

Latest updates, looks like after some drifting to the west, the models have drifted to the east. everything is still subject to change, there is no certainty at this point. recon planes are being sent out to get better data for the models. will try to keep updating:

I was chuckling a bit at the storm's predicted path early this morning. My parents neighbor, they live in Florida, spends his summers in Vermont to avoid tropical storms.

Here are some updates, this storm is going to ruin someones day and it just might be mine. all the models have made the jump to the western move. there are models now splitting and showing NJ impact. i hope you are ready.

Some suggestions from the pros:
1) Check your supplies. Prepare as if you will see an extended power outage. Non-perishable food, water, medications, a first aid kit, batteries, flashlights (no candles!) and gas for your car and/or generator will help in case you lose power. Cash on hand is good to have too. NEVER run your generator indoors. That includes the garage.
2) If you are at the coast, check to see if you are in an evacuation zone. You can find that here:https://portal.ct.gov/.../Know-Your-...vacuation-Maps
3) Be aware of trees and power lines near your home and/or car. When the storm comes, make sure your vehicles aren't under any trees and if the wind gets bad that you are not in parts of your home that could be hit by large trees.
4) Check your insurance policy and keep important documents nearby in case you need them.
5) Don't panic! Have a plan for what to do if power goes out.
For additional tips for coastal residents and inland folks, go here!

its looking much better for boston today then it did yesterday. still lots of factors involved here. landfall seems imminent, its just a matter of where. there are different driving forces in play now that were earlier this week. the models are getting tighter. the N and E side of the storm usually have the worst conditions so it could get a little choppy. since this beast is going north it will expand in size just like sandy did so i think you will have more than a drizzle.

im in SW CT so in a bad spot. luckily i have my generator, gas, food, water and a bunch of extension cords. havent had time to get my generator hardwired. i have enough to keep the essentials powered up. i just hope it either moves back east a little or a NJ hit for us. pretty stressed out regardless. will be hitting the packy later today

Stay safe and good luck. That’s 3 in a row we just dodged in florida. Is it a natural coincidence or is god looking out for DeSantis?

I’m on the cape now and they are not predicting it to be too bad here. Winds 25-35 mph with stronger gusts. It doesn’t feel like many are too concerned up here right now because it looks like it shifted to the west and will hit Connecticut.

i just went to home depot and my wife picked up groceries. everything was business as usual. not sure whats going on. i hope this storm keeps pushing west or goes back east. sounds like the ridge that is driving is getting strong thus pulling it more west.

the general concensus right now is that there should not be hurricane force winds at land fall regardless of where it is. the big concerns will always be water with this kind of storm. storm surge at the shore and if it stalls inland flooding. stay safe bruv
