Marvel's "What If" series

Anyone watching it? I have a question about Ep. 1
A democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. And that's why the USA is a constitutional republic and not a democracy.

Surprised she wasn't tearing tanks apart like Ironboy was.

Almost intolerable levels of Fem-Power SJW chit, but not quite enough to tune it out. Her being constantly chit on by the dumbass general or whatever guy they invented to be a misogynist pig that wasn't in the movie, that got old fast.

How did peggy stop a moving car? That’s not realistic
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

It was literally like that back in the 50’s though.

What’s your question Op?

Btw, episode 2 was much better than the first.

Peggy taking Captain America's place is kinda silly. I haven't watched it yet but I might watch it later. Some of the other changes look interesting, like Thanos being a hero instead of a villain.

Nope. My question has to do with the Tesseract. Red Skull gets it. Peggy and Howard Stark get it back and then in a later scene Red Skull is using it to summon the tentacled monster. No mention how Red Skull got it back.

He ambushed them during the train scene. Steve was using it to power his suit when it got blown off of the mountain. They detained him and took the tesseract to summon the monster.

I figured it was inside IronBoy powering his armor. He captured him and took it out. IronBoy had little power after once he was rescued.

Btw, the monster at the end was a let down. Such a rich tapestry of crazy Marvel comics villains and things and they go with lame tenticle things.

I think I finally am. Post Endgame, everything has been meh. They are more interesting in introducing all these diversity characters and lgbt stuff after they built the MCU on the backs of the Iron Man and Captain America than actually making good films.

I haven't watched them yet cause they are doing stories that. I don't find interesting.

The what if? In the comics are ****ing amazing. Some really really super cool stories there.

I'll probably only watch the ones I find interesting.

For instance, there's a what if? Where Spiderman is trained by shield at a young age and he develops so much control over his abilities he can use his spider sense to predict events completely and he's basically impossible to fight.

Theres a what if? Where wolverine gets brainwashed by hydra and they give him a personal teleporter and send him out like a hit man. He murders almost everyone in the universe because no one can kill wolverine with a teleporter.

Sooooo many cool what if comics. I'm just waiting for the good cartoons. Tchalla and Peggy Carter aren't it for me.

Disney is right on it. You're fine with the Punisher being recast as a black woman, I assume. I mean... you're not a Nazi, are you? Also, by "Marvel Universe" we mean just the cis white men. Don't worry, they'll all be portrayed as dumb bigots before she guns them down so it'll all make perfect sense. Enjoy!

This ^^^. I read/collected comics as a kid back in the 90s. Two of my favorite comics were Marvel's "What If" and DC's "Elseworlds," which is basically the same thing.

Only mildly interested in the show as it has to work within the restraints of the MCU.
