I don't feel like I've changed so much as we have more information. I was trying to figure out what the hell was going on from the beginning. It isn't like I've decided the virus is fake now, more that the reaction to the virus doesn't make sense.

I would say my attitude changed with the roll out of vaccination for the most at risk because if the people in the most danger were now protected by an effective vaccine it seemed like we should head back towards something more normal.



I was never part of the "masks outside + wiping down groceries" crew. I truly spent very very little mental energy on the virus for a good 5 months or so. The lying and propaganda triggers anger or anxiety depending on the day. And it isn't really anxiety about the virus so much as anxiety about general security in a mad world. I tend to overthink anyway and it's worse when it feels like no one is being straight with us because they have some kind of agenda or motive.
