Anyone else played wow classic? Stopped right before tbc came out

played foir like 2 months phase 1 then got over it.

was gonna play tbc and actually climb on warrior (WD 2s) but then i got over it.


just the thought of having to lvl BS and farm until i can make deep thunder makes me not even want to try... if blizz arena tourney servers id play.

Yeah I played at the tail end of vanilla classic and just recently started dabbling back into TBC, I at least want to do some Kara runs again and maybe some Gruul/mag and eventually BT.

I only got to BWL level gear though, I was in the best guild on the server but they only did naxx once every 5 days and RARELY would do BWL and I tagged along for those and some MC pugs and got enough full raid gear from there just as TBC came out, and some GM gear too for BIS pre naxx.

Honestly BWL was always my favorite of anything on WoW, I even still enjoyed ZG's a lot

My main goal with playing classic during vanilla was just getitng a crown of destruction because i always wanted one back in vanilla WoW and i got one so that was cool

Supposedly most of my guild quit, theres still enough to be server best for what there is now but people already got so bored of just doing gruul/mag/kara on repeat, kind of hard afting grinding naxx loot pinada for a year

Warrior? Melee dps in tbc is pretty ass tier until like late t6. Tbh tbc pve is pretty ass tier in general...

yeah it is like I said I really just like Kara runs especially because you can just do them whenever and its pretty smooth if you pick a solid 10

I liked gruul and mag pugs but then SSC CoT and the blood elf place dont even want to remember its name all sucked balls. I didnt like anything in WotLK either except revamped naxx

I didnt go to the gym for a full year during covid so yeah i lost most , but now Im back in full force and about the same shape as my avi, praise the tech

I play retail WoW mainly for arena, couldn't get past level 34 in classic because it was boring af by comparison. Good for you OP.

Not doubting your skills boyo, but arena is extremely competitive right now. Coming from a S3/S4 Glad who is struggling @ 1800 right now, its straight up brutal. Even teams at 1200-1300 will bait with fake casts, have Line of sight on point, and play with careful cross-CC. Back in the day there were teams in the 2000s who didn't even use arena 1/2/3 macros. Nowadays that's a bare minimum. Idk if its just me, but I cannot seem to keep up with how sweaty its gotten.

Played classic and stopped because the pvp system didnt come out for months and i dont pve.
came back for tbc classic. Grinded pvp gear and thunder/lionheart (first part)
but dont pve so didnt have any way to do heroics and grinding nethers for deep thunder/ champion wasnt gonna happen.

Then.. finding arena teams seemed near impossible. Basically..most teams are long time friends already.. and theres no lfg system so you hopelessly spam trade chat lookin for someone.
and even then.. takes like 4 or 5 weeks to get 1 piece of arena gear unless you do 3s or 5s with 1800+ rating.
Im not that sweaty of a nerd and dont feel like getting in discord and everything. so stopped subscription last month.

btw.. any1 know when diablo 4 is coming out? or d2 res?
