Pfizer vaccine is associated with an increased risk of myocarditis in young males.

Sorry if repost, but found this study on vaccine causing myocarditis (heart swelling) in young males and felt it might apply to young miscers thinking of getting the vaccine.

the study does note that coronavirus itself has a higher chance of causing the myocarditis than the vaccine. one thing though is that by taking the vaccine you are 100% guaranteed a chance of getting it whereas you'd have to actually get covid bad enough to impact your organs for covid itself to do that which is of course a small % in and of itself.

The cases were disproportionately men and teenagers under the age of 30 after their second dose of Pfizer.

Yes. Looks like Moderna may be worse in this regard based on a Canadian study that is in pre-print.

I had myocarditis 10ish years ago. I was sidelined for like a month and still get daily chest pain. **** is no good

I have a bicuspid aortic valve which means that I have technically two valves going to my heart and a super faint third valve in terms of pumping blood to my heart.

I feel that I might be potentially affected by this, I "technically" had a heart murmur as a kid, but apparently you tend to grow out of it as an adult.

I've had COVID previously in October 2020 and was curious about a 1 dose just to up the antibodies (I've been reading/watching a lot of studies about this) but this makes me hesitant.

You should have antibodies then. You can of course consult a physician, but I think your risk/benefit profile skews much more towards risk unless you have some other big health issue.

I've been reading on the science of antibodies and it keeps changing to a point where it's now said to be a lifetime.

I was only considering the jab should things progressively get worse in terms of cases and variants as a measure, science does say that 1 dose can increase already existing antibody protection too.

With the rise of myocarditis and blood clotting caused by the vaccines they now fabricate lies that the virus itself causes them too. Zero animal models inoculated with SARS-CoV-2 developed these problems. Notice how covid was strictly a respiratory disease until vaccine rollouts began? Now it can cause heart attacks too JFL.
