The weapons were left for the Afgan military to fight off the Taliban.

The Taliban were always going to get it. The important thing was getting our people out first and not abandoning them.

It was naive of Biden and his Generals to think the Afgan government and military would hold up. Even Trump knew it wouldn't happen.

No, if you're going to leave it, destroy it. Since the afghans abandoned it that means you drop bombs on that equipment, kinda hard to do without our airforce present there though since Biden pulled that out a couple months ago.
