1. Typical Toronto Drake nuthugger (go to any bar dt and it's filled with these types)

2. BRB Toronto's architectural landmark LOL

3. 1 million dollar homes

4. Overflowing garbage everywhere

Just LOL at Toronto

One of my favorite cities srs but my two most recent visits were 2018 and 2012. There was a noticeable decline in 2018. Homeless people everywhere, sleeping in the middle of the sidewalk on Yonge Street, 1/3 people didn’t speak English, trash everywhere, wannabe gangbangers on the subway (I could see the bitch in their eyes tho, I’m from NY). It seemed like it was morphing into your typical American inner city. So maybe Toronto has turned into a chithole thanks to liberalism just like so many other cities. I will always cherish my memories of visiting family there growing up though. It was truly a wonderful city.

Grew up there but would never move back. Last time I was downtown it was overrun by homeless and even the restaurants were crap.

Only thing I miss is access to decent live music and pro sports.

Say, ˹O believers,˺ We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.

Typical Toronto girl

"I've been to a party at Drakes and he liked my photo once on insta 5 years ago!"

"I talked to the Weeknd before he was mainstream!"

in Downtown, the air smells like crap, homeless people everywhere, crowded as fukk. maybe my experience wasn't great cause i lived there during COVID so it was boring. but if i get another job in Downtown, i would love to be a 5 minute walk from work. commuting is the worst.

did u move into North York or something?
Being close to work is nice for sure - I set my own hours and can choose to come into the office if I want so no need to be downtown anymore

I moved to mid town (st Clair) and it’s much nicer than dt
