Food and shelter is a basic human right, why pay for it?

As much as everyone deserves their food and shelter to be excellent.

We have always needed to work to get i. could be you live in the jungle and need to hunt for it and build it yourself, could be you go to work.

once upon a time the burden fell upon every mans shoulders to provide shelter and food not only for himself but his entire family - you either were successful or perished as a result

there was no government tit hanging for the mouths of everyone to latch onto

i believe certain masses of land with clean water source/animals forests etc should be kept free for anyone to live free

Very sad and cruel if some had to perish as a result.

But even now somehow the purpose in life is same and that's all their is to that if someone doesn't want to perish.
