What happened to advertising/posters??
IN SHORT: Advertising should actually advertise and not be promoting other random stuff. Pre 2013 nailed this, so yeah, copy and paste pre 2013 advertising styles.
Pre 2013, I would see epic posters/advertising on walls/bus shelters etc. They'd be in your face, foul/slang language, naked women/ripped hulks posing, random text and it ends up being eyecatching. Sometimes I'd walk up to them and read it, perhaps even look it up online.
(I get the whole racism/gay/random community awareness, but blasting in my face at every opportunity is a bit much.)
Post 2013 has posters/advertising being heavily gay/unmasculine. Look at adverts for clothes, TV shows, holiday places, cars, shaving stuff, sponsors, games, music, online markets, ANYTHING. Poofy pink colours/sparkly with some blatantly average person (almost always a low test guy (guy?)) in the ad. Not to mention the horrendous angles they point at the actors, I swear I just want to knock them out. They're trying to convince me of something that has nothing to do with the company/whatever whilst clearly trying their 100% best to not offend anyone, which is so funny, but also offputting. I mean, that is not what an advert is all about lol.
Like, what happened to chucking in hot supermodels and above average people as the posers? Noisy blasting obnoxious music with huge text. I swear I remember they had Jessica Simpson washing a car in a bikini with other models just to advertise a burger LOL!
Look at how they advertise this videogame. They've got a wrestler, a blonde nurse model and yeah. Badass and to the point.
It's weird, as current culture for adverts is to have the most diverse people ever and push it in my face, be incredibly unmasculine/be really fanny like and have me walk off the second it turns on.
Seriously, when I look around post 2013, I'm just plain disappointed about adverts/posters. Before 2012ish, they were so creative and it looked like genuine fun. Wasn't anything to overthink aswell, as it was the norm.
But yeah, the old advertising world was a ton better than the current loony trash. It had everything it needed without being weird/unnecessary.
Examples of advertising that's eye catching/useful. You can see how hardcore and badass they are, having a ripped spartan/ultrawhore on front.

Just look at the thumbnails of those videos let alone the content. That girly/soft low test stuff would never have passed in the pre 2013 world. Would've been laughed at a ton.

they took bullys out of schools in the 90's and now those *******s grew up and took over. back in the day they knew their fukking place, now they just sit their asses on reddit and take turns emailing CEO's of companys that they found something or someone their company did offensive

The woke people in the company suggest some propaganda ad and it's heresy to tell them they're dumb and that they're ad won't appeal to the target audience. Companies are no longer making ditectly profit-driven decisions.

But it's kind of true and the results these days showcase how some of these whiney clowns never got their heads bashed in during school.

I say this all the time, but 2010 people would've obliterated the average/above average person in 2021.

The more I look back at pre 2012 the more I wonder if we merged timelines or something
They couldn't make those real men of genius commercials nowadays either. Its like everything is now suddenly pussified and generic.
The 90s and most of the 2000s was like a dream world compared to now

Remember those Terry Crews "old spice" commercials? Those were insane.
Honestly, I couldn't imagine 2013+ (let alone 2021) recreating anything from pre 2013 without having a heavily fragile/not serious/***got aura to it. It is a nightmare because 2013+ is somehow designed to cater to everything I hate. Lol

Actually, I don't usually like posting the stuff that I complain about cos it's embarrassing. However, have u seen the "boohoo" ads? Whenever I watch Jackass or whatever, this boohoo trash comes up a few seconds before the show starts. (I think they sponsor MTV) Oh man is it the most beta/gay/weird/unmasculine 0 testosterone 15 seconds of sponsored viewing time.
It's just so absurd, and the population definitely takes that as serious and copies their behaviour/clothing design/attitude. It's so absurd.

A good way of noticing this is to literally look around online. Compare 2010 videos with 2021 videos. Compare 2010 celebrities with 2021 celebrities etc. It's painfully obvious.

Yeah exactly, the celebrities before 2013 weren't even so bad to read about honestly. When they'd come up online or in a conversation, I wouldn't mind. These days I can't stand the weirdness emitting from these clowns.
Did u see my response above about the boohoo ads and whatever? What do u think about that? Lots of culture is identical to that in day to day life.

Basically any advertising really, but this company really zeroes in on the weirdness of it all.
It's just unnecessarily feminine/?????
