I wasreallylooking forward to starting the final season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Yes, it has had isolated "woke" lines in past seasons, but I figured that NBC learned from the backlash and abandoned that bullchit.

Boy was I wrong. I start the first episode and not even 30 seconds in (I chit you not), there is a complete take over by "muh oppression of african americans" and how terrible white people are. I had to turn it off after that. Can't we just leave this stuff out of entertainment??????

So bummed. Welp, at least there's 30 Rock re-runs.......

Still sucks. I was waiting for the majority of the season to be released before I started watching it.

Yeah I watched like 20 minutes of the last law and order premiere and noped the fuk out.

Ive been sticking it out since Im already so far into it. Its a shame too because its not supposed to be a police show. Its a comedy about work friends that happens to be in a police station. The Office was created the same way-it’s not about the actual management of a paper company, sure they reference it, but that is just to set up the jokes. It is supposed to be applicable and relevant to all viewers in an office setting with each unique character representing a certain archetype. I think its interesting because all of the past seasons they were dealing with corrupt/incompetent cops anyway, but now it is so forced. They would have all been fired irl for destruction of property, wasting time, sexual harrassment, etc. but now they are taking everything seriously and “all cops bad” which is why Rosa quit. The show is supposed to provide escapism, not take a stance. I find it funny how the first line from Holt in the first episode this season was regarding “the death of George Floyd”. It’s like the writers were forced to make it super pro-BLM, but they chose the verbiage death over murder. Ah well, I won’t be rewatching it, but I still enjoyed the show overall.

once you learn to recognize propaganda you will find that nearly everything on TV is propaganda. its one of the values of having a media monopoly.. you can program the npc's and even give them their firmware updates via new tv shows

So the BS continues throughout the season?
