Mensa is only 98th percentile. That's 1 in 50. Not a very high bar if 1 in 50 qualify for membership. It's all weirdos too. Basically people who have nothing else going on other than belonging to a club that pop culture considers high IQ. Imagine a club full of wincels.
If you want a real high IQ club, try the Triple Nine Society (99.9th percentile), Prometheus Society (99.997th percentile), or the Mega Society (99.9999th percentile). That last one only has about 2 dozen members worldwide. These are all nerds too. Probably mostly autists as well.
