Why do people pretend to care about 9/11 on social media

It's so inauthentic, it's fooling nobody.

They wake up, realize it's 9/11 and google a "never forget" picture, then forget about it from September 12th to September 10th

Just stop pls.

Never forget the 6 trillion that could’ve died that day if they didn’t all coincidentally take off

Social media is a place where you can pretend to care about anything you want.
