Derek Chauvin, 45, faces an additional 20 years in prison for allegedly violating the civil rights of a 14-year-old black boy

The former Minneapolis cop who murdered George Floyd has denied federal charges violating a black teenagers civil rights by kneeling on the boy's neck - just like he did while killing Floyd.

Derek Chauvin, 45, pleaded not guilty to the charges in Minneapolis on Thursday morning. He appeared via videolink for the brief hearing.

He was sentenced to more than 22 years in prison earlier this year for killing Floyd when he stopped Floyd, 46, from breathing by kneeling on his neck for more than nine minutes on Memorial Day 2020.

Hennepin County prosecutors in Minneapolis claim Chauvin had used the same restraint method that killed Floyd on an unnamed 14-year-old black boy in September 2017, depriving the teen of his right to be free of unreasonable force

I hate to say it but in 2021 if you are a white police officer you have give a different tier of service in black or low income communities. You receive a 911 call and your first thought has to be mitigating risk to your physical person. Then mitigating risk to your finances/emotional well-being.


Unfortunately the narrative that big bad white supremacists are going around victimizing minorities is not true. Which means when a minority calls the police for assistance. 99% of the time, its for someone of their own race causing problems/victimizing them.


Democrats, Liberals, NAACP, etc. have created an environment where its high risk to provide police services to minority and low income communities. The danger to getting hurt/killed from a suspect comes with the job. Its the political organizations that cause the biggest danger. Congratulations libs, you win. Rich folk get a higher tier of service then minorities and poor people.




Back when BLM first emerged I began making strategic career moves to put myself policing the most upscale/wealthy communities possible. I saw the writing on the wall. Its much better to patrol an area where residents/business owners will offer you a cold bottle of water on a hot day. A fresh baked cookie or cupcake. Offer to buy your lunch.
