What was the first R-rated/18 rated movie you saw?

And how old were you when you saw it?

I saw Point Break (rated 18, which is highest age rating) when I was 12.

My younger bro watched 'From Dusk Til Dawn' when he was around 8 and loved it.

I saw Conan The Barbarian when i was like 4 years old (my mother was a big fan of Arnold in the early 80´s). The violence and the nudity shocked me for sure, but i wouldn´t trade that memories for nothing.

Same thing. Parents let me watch Conan but wouldn't let me watch Terminator. I had to sneak in after parents feel asleep to pop in the VHS. Might have been 7 at the time.

I think it was either Predator or Double Impact.

I also saw The Guyver (anime tv show) when I was ridiculously young. I picked it up from the rental store with my Mum thinking it was just some typical cartoon. I have burnt into my memory that scene where the experimental Zoinoid gets his hands bent backwards and ripped off by Gregoyle, and then he just staggers around with bloody stumps.

Also this scene. Skip to 4:50 if you want to see some sick chit. I was mesmerised as a boy.

Fuark. I watched that when I was young but not that young.

I find that whole scene incredibly hard to watch, even now.

The movie All That Jazz. I had flown out to Florida with dad over Christmas break. The company he worked with was moving us from California to Florida. One day we had extra time on our hands, saw a movie theater, and dad asked me which movie will we watch. I didn't know any of the films listed so just randomly chose All That Jazz. It wasn't all that good.

When I was in Kindergarten I saw Robocop, which was rated NC-18 or whatever but with a few edits they got it knocked down to R.

The scene where the bad guy gets a tank of acid dumped on him, starts shriveling up desperately asking his friends to help him and eventually gets splattered all over a car windshield, traumatized the hell out of me.

So after my grandfather got out of the navy in WW2? He worked as an engineer on projects like the Pittsburgh incline. As such he had a bunch of model trains and so forth that used to get put up in my basement. I remember hiding under the table and watching changelling

Haha I watched that when I was 7 at a sleepover. We slept on bean bags in my friend's living room and I did not sleep a wink that night. I thought I could see Predator hovering over us in the shadows the entire night LOL - that is burned into my memory.

Friday the 13th at the age of 9. And my friends' cottage was on an island in the woods. And he liked to sleep with his balcony door open. Did not sleep a wink that night and almost had to call my parents to come get me I was so terrified.

I saw that movie (and Predator) when I was young, but not classing it personally as I saw a TV version which was edited to a standard which would not have got an R or 18 rating at cinema. I know it was edited having seen the full versions later in life.

I saw Breakdown in the theater with my parents. Seeing as that came out in 1997 that means I was 9. My first "favorite movie" as a kid was Total Recall but I don't know how old I was when I first saw it, probably before I was 9.

Dang. I've always thought it was Jurassic Park but I just looked and it's only PG-13?

Not sure then but for sure like Terminator or Rambo, watched all those 80s action flicks with my buddies.
