Anyone prefer a quiet life these days?
Away from the things you used to do when you were in your 20s, etc?
I don't frequent to the bars much, I cook more at home, I spend probably 2-3 hours at the gym and am content with that.
I spend a lot of my time on my business with projects, emails and trying to get better overall.
It's pretty zen honestly.

Yeah, adulthood is stressful. Family, work, personal obligations all day everyday. I love spending time with myself and just doing my own thing. Those days are rare but it's nice when everything works out and I can basically disappear off the face of the earth for a day or two.

ive always lived a quiet life. I would've liked some friends to be around and talk to about nothing. I'm an extrovert forced to be an introvert and its hell.

I spend most of my time alone aside from work and I enjoy it. Bike riding, hiking, reading books, watching movies, playing guitar, etc. I find people stressful and annoying for the most part. I’ve distanced myself a lot from most of my friends and social circle, quit posting chit on social media, no regrets. It’s zen not feeling obligated to attend social gatherings every weekend. I’d rather just focus on myself. Sounds selfish but COVID is the ultimate excuse to stay home and relax.

You can be surrounded by people and still be along like this guy at the gym
Don’t necessarily mean he’s interacting with people while there. No one makes eye contact or even says hi these days cuz that’s gay af lol remember? This is 2021 not the 90s

Comfort and relaxation is what I want 95% of the time. Thankfully all my girls come over to drink/chill/fuk and they don't try to drag me out to lame ass BS like all the cucked boyfriends/husbands I know LMFAO

I've always been that way and really doubled down on this attitude in adulthood. Nothing wrong with people who need more stimulation, though. We're all different.

*Use half the roll to wipe after a poo crew*
*Fart in the gym and blame rotten smell on faulty ventilation crew*
*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*
*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*
*Coffee black as midnight on a moonless night crew*

I used to like being the attention seeker when I was younger. Nowadays I've learned the beauty of anonymity and try to stay in the background and be less social.

Both my businesses run out of my house now so basically if it wasn't for split custody with my kids and my girlfriend, I'd rarely leave. Which is fine with me, but I do miss random chats with people at work for the most part. Plus I worked in gyms so I miss seeing hotties working out.
I make a point of trying to be social whenever I can just because I don't want to be a hermit so I play sports and am a member of a band. Otherwise I'm quite happy.

Yea luckily my girl knew from the jump im an introvert and doesn't give me chit. It's good to have a partner tho because i think men do need someone to bring them out of their introvert world occasionally to socialize. If it were up to me, and i was single living by myself, i would rarely leave the house. I'm an introvert that doesn't mind being forced out of my comfort zone occasionally.
