UCLA Professor sues school after refusing to grade black students with more leniency

"An accounting professor at UCLA said he filed a lawsuit against the school after it put him on leave and allegedly threatened to fire him for not grading Black student’s more leniently than their peers.

"Recently, I was suspended from my job for refusing to treat my black students as lesser than their non-black peers," Gordon Klein wrote in an op-ed titled, "Why I Am Suing UCLA."

The ordeal began, according to Klein, on June 2, 2020, eight days after George Floyd was killed in Minneapolis. No doubt, but most everything I seem to have seen recently is beyond retarded no lie. Just stupid on stupid on stupid. So you would think this would surprise me, but it really doesn’t at all in the least. Probably should move to Europe or something

I've heard this argument that it's largely whites pushing for these policies, but that's just not true.

Whites largely support soft methods such as targeted outreach, but disapprove of hard methods like enrollment quotas. Blacks statistically support both.

You're right. In the long run it hurts the black students, not helps them. So they graduate, but nobody takes them seriously, so even if they are made of the right stuff, people will assume otherwise. Of course the liberals blame "racism" but they should understand human nature and rational thought to why this is assumed. As well, to allow someone to believe they are doing something right when they are doing it wrong is probably the best way to set someone up for failure. Meanwhile, liberal whites use this to promote themselves ahead, at the expense of the blacks.

And that's still less than 1/5th of the amount of whites who support the same racist policies. They're being pushed because whites support them. If no whites supported then, and only blacks did, you'd never hear about them.

Mind sharing how you arrived at that 1/5th the amount of whites number? I get much different results.

60% of 14% (black population) = 9% of the total population
20% of 60% (white population) = 12% " "
45% of 18% (latino population) = 8% " "

Minorities account for 17% of the 29% of the total population that support these kind of policies, which is significantly greater than their proportion of the population, and greater than white voters in absolute terms too. Are you really confident that these policies are being pushed to appease a very small minority of whites?

Hard to imagine companies knowing this and not being even more racist from now on. Brb looking for fresh grads, brb black UCLA graduate comes up in the resume list, brb throwing it in the bin in a second because I know they were graded differently during their degree.
