Its pretty hilarious that reddit acts like it has any ****ing clue as to whats going on. These are the same people who poured their life savings into meme stocks and got straight robbed, even illegally in some cases with zero consequences. It may be over for this year and maybe even next, but you really think:

1. You can predict how long it'll stay down
2. That this is permanent and we won't be materially higher in 30 years?

If so, history tells us the probability of those statements is very low. Given how many retirement accounts are tied up in stock markets and rich cronie friends are fully invested in the markets, the Government has every incentive to make sure crashes aren't permanent. Plus, inflation = higher profits long-term for companies since they'll pass that chit on to the poors who buy their gear instead of their stock.

People have been saying this for years and the people who listened and shorted are living under the bridge. But yeah, economy's going to crash. U.S. can only print so much money out of thin air before the rest of the world says enough is enough.

Just a spectator. If you watch the vid that I linked the claim is that the big dogs have gotten the bagholders trained to buy and hold since the last big drop [07-08]. Now the tops are in and the insiders will sell while the chumps are still buying then sit out and wait for the new bottom to stabilize before re-upping.

Money printing is directly tied to widespread inflation. It will have to stop (at some point) to prevent hyperinflation.

When the printer does stop, all speculative assets should make a pretty large correction. I'm not sure when all of this will happen but inflation keeps ticking up and the central banks and governments are running out of time.
