Is True Detective season 2+3 worth watching ?

First season was awesome. Alexandria Dadario angus (totally jelly when woody harrelson sniffmaxxed her angus), and phenomenal molkers. Plus the acting was great and the story was sick.


Season two seems different. Although I am only through one episode, it seems it takes a different approach to the show vs season 1.

Honestly I'd just rewatch s1 twice instead.

Season 2 is a mess. Season 3 set up a lot of good ideas but fizzles.

Season 1 is really the only good season unfortunately.

S2 was a clusterphuk of a storyline. S3 was really just a standard plot, it could've been so much more

I am actually enjoying S2; Vince Vaughan, Rachel McAdams and Colin Farrell make a good lead trio.

Not as good as season 1, but that is a VERY hard act to follow.

2 is like a completely different show than 1 and 3, but its still watchable. i didnt like 3 at all

I would think you guys would like season 2

Vince plays a guy who has a sort of right wing vibe. It's not stated outright but he's a rich powerful gangster who is self made.

Cop he's up against is a literal cuck.

Lots of stuff for you guys.

S2 was awful.
Started S3 and was just so done after 2 that I stopped watching it.
