There's two ways in which I screwed up with my oneitis. The first way is just through shear immaturity which we all experience as we date and go through life, and the second way is through not letting go sooner. I messed up her career plans as I did not see her limitations. She had a 4.0 GPA her first semester in college when she started pre-nursing, and I pushed her to go to medical school instead as she always wanted to be a pediatrician. I'm not sure what made her upset, was it our failing relationship or just the uncomfortable state of having to actually study hard? Let's just say that she flunked that semester. She started becoming addicted to Steam games, and began having many guy friends on there who'd give her in-game items worth $500 or more. She kept telling me how her guy friends wanted to come visit our city and meet her. Mind you, this is a girl I've been dating for the last three years. We were each other's firsts, and we started dating when I was 18 and she was 17. I told her fcuk that, if she goes through with it then she'd be utterly disrespecting me. She came over one last time, and everything seemed perfect again. We made love one last time, I cooked her a whole meal, etc. Then she goes and disappears from the grid. She stops responding and doesn't pick up the phone. I see her playing Steam games like 14 hours a day, and she wouldnt have anything to do with me. I went to her house and after rattling her door for a good 20 minutes, she finally answered, and but didn't want to talk to me. She hinted at that it was over. The pain broke me, I didn't want to live. I stood on the edge of several high places, contemplating just offing myself. For the next month or so I kept sending her clingy messages, which in retrospect I shouldn't have, but you live and you learn. Basically, she never replied to me and almost a year later I still had no closure. I messaged her out of the blue and she told me she just wanted me to be happy. Then she wrote me a snail mail letter. In the letter, she disclosed how one of her girlfriends took her to some party, and she was raped there. Her girlfriend blamed herself for it and killed herself. Now she suffered from the trauma of that night, the painful herpes she acquired and the loss of her friend. She was an 8/10 asian hbb.
