Man stuns ex-girlfriend by paying off her ENTIRE mortgage (PICS)

- The pair were together for seven years and share a three-year-old son, Leo - but after trying to make their relationship work, parted ways in April this year. Despite Shaun being "heartbroken", they remained friends

- In the video, Shaun explains: "It's your birthday today, I want you to have the best birthday ever. And look, I know we're not together anymore, and I've been so proud of you, you're the best mum ever, so I did something. I rang up the bank, I paid off the entire mortgage. This house now belongs to you"

- While it's not known what Shaun does for a job, he revealed that he "made major break throughs with work" which put him in a position to be able to pay off the mortgage

- People who saw the clip were just as shocked with many praising Shaun for his generosity

As someone without a kid, this isn't even something I considered. So good point, repped tbh.

But still a simp. When she finds a boyfriend/fiance/husband and it's not him, it's still gonna burn and he'll realize the hundreds of thousands he wasted on this chit. I'm a fan of the idea of him not being a rival/enemy towards the baby mama, but he should've moneymaxed/financemaxed his own situation to the fullest to have a more enticing offering to the kid versus the mom. Maybe even put the money into a trust fund for the kid. Now if he's just a multi-millionaire and it doesn't impact him at all to put down $200k+ and it enables more opportunities on the day-to-day for the kid when she's the one with custody, then fine that kinda makes sense I guess.

My vote.

They were a couple for 7 years, decided that wasn't working and as far as we can tell are amicable.

I didn't see a $$ amount for the mortgage, so it may not be as much as some are assuming. Could be a modest house that didn't have a big loan against it.
