Canadian Buying Crypto

Looking to get into crypto as a Canadian. Will most likely buy solana and eth. Which exchange do you all recommend?

I set up a kraken account but to transfer CAD I have to wire it... I can't e-transfer or send an EFT..

There are a lot of ways to do it, I would first set up a Shakepay account, download the app and get verified. It's a Canadian company that let's you transfer money directly from your bank account and swap it for Eth or BTC. Very simple and quick to use with great customer service.

You can stop there and just hold BTC and ETH in Shakepay or get verified on an exchange that carries the coins you are looking to buy.
