there is no new blood added to the misc and there is a slow attrition of existing brothers but it's gonna take a few more years likely before it's totally dead

I think you can still get approval to join the misc but it takes time. Should ask the mods

may be so but even before it was made private there was no new blood. Young guys are on reddit or tiktok now or whatever. Forums are just a dated means of communication.
