Miscer pays $150/year to eat all of his meals at six flags since 2014

https://nypost.com/2021/10/27/man-sp...-student-debt/

You can pay around $150 for unlimited, year-round access to Six Flags, which includes parking and two meals a day,” Dylan, 33, explained to Mel Magazine Monday. “If you time it right, you could eat both lunch and dinner there every day.”

The theme park offers guests a “premium season dining pass” which allows visitors to enjoy lunch and dinner items, as well as a snack and unlimited drinks during every visit on any regular operating day, per Six Flags Magic Mountain’s website. The deal, which doesn’t include alcoholic beverages, is listed on the site at $109.99 plus tax.

dude became overweight and unhealthy eating that junk every single day

but he saved a lot of money to pay off his debts, so I respect the grind. He's also an electrical engineer, mirin.

The thinking is simple. It gets people to hang out there and spend money, and they figure 99/100 people who get this will only use it a few times, guys like the dude in the article are those rare special cases. He must live down the street or something.

The funniest thing is their systems are so inefficient/dated that in 2017 we renewed before our 2018 pass took effect (but it was already active in 2018 if you purchased it in 2017) so you got double the amount of meals/snacks for a good quarter of the year as long as you entered with both passes (easy to do just walk out and walk back in with the second pass).

Seems like the cat is out of the bag now that idiot normies are spreading the secret but it was good while it lasted......haven't been to Six Flags since 2019 so don't really care anymore.

i wonder if they even care

i'd bet the bulk of the people who buy those passes don't actually utilize the benefits enough which offsets the people who "abuse" it like this guy. props to him for being smart enough to min-max it

it's $89 for the meal pass at six flags by me, so I get it for myself and split it with my ex-wife for the 2 kids.

six flags is like 15-20 min from my house, sometimes we go up and it's too crowded, so we get burgers and fries, eat and go back home

that season pass and meal pass are an incredible value for entertaining and feeding your kids, there are 2 water parks that take the passes too

Explain how. The six flags magic mountain wasn't open year round until 2018.
AUG. 23, 2017 5 AM PT
Good news for thrill-seekers: Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia and its stomach-churning roller-coaster collection will operate every day of the year, starting Jan. 1.

The expansion represents an attempt to transition from a niche regional theme park to a major destination resort like Southern California rivals Universal Studios Hollywood and the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim.

The change also means Six Flags Magic Mountain can better target tourists who visit from outside the region, including travelers from Asia, Mexico and Australia, said Bonnie Weber, president of Six Flags Magic Mountain.

“By operating 365 days a year, that is the entry point to go after the tour and travel trade,” Weber said.

The park, which runs more roller coasters — 19 — than any other U.S. theme park, now operates 250 days a year, primarily in the summer months, during school holiday breaks and on select weekends. The Disneyland Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood and Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park operate year-round.

There's an amusement park nearby to me but it's still a solid 20 minutes drive due to traffic and lights. Then another 5-10 to get inside after parking. If I lived closer, and they had a deal like this, and the food was healthier like chicken + rice + beans with a diet coke, bruh I'd jump all over this. Brb $150/yr to eat lunch and dinner. Most people spend $150 on food for themselves per week.
