LOL @ the absolute chit show that is the HOUSING BUBBLE
Zillow is running a train on housing costs. They bought 7k homes OVER what the value of the homes were, thinking institutional investors would purchase them, only to have to take a loss on them.
Yea, totally normal market dynamics here. Housing market is BOOMING, since everyone is killing it at their jobs right now.
Market is hot!
No bubble @ all.

No bubble @ all.
One, Zillow is now trying to dump about 7,000 houses, but not to individual homebuyers as originally planned as house flipper, which is obviously too hard and painful. Instead, it’s pitching these houses to institutional investors, trying to get $2.8 billion in total, according to sources cited by Bloomberg. Zillow is likely to sell the houses to a multitude of investors, rather than selling all of them in a single transaction, the sources said.

Been saying for a while now: Crash scheduled to happen March 2022....
I honestly can't comprehend how anyone can think the housing market can keep going up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up with no possibility of correction.....

Housing is something everyone needs, we should srsly regulate it. No foriegn buyers. Limits on how many you can own.
Inb4 "free market ****s"
Its fukked srs. My house is like worth 150k imo. Its worth over 1 million now and I thought I over paid at 600k. Chits not right.

This bubble is even worse than 2008, because the market wasn't allowed to bottom out over a decade ago.
There is no way to escape this one, because rates can't be dropped any lower to create new demand.
We've had rates at 0% for 12 years, the Fed buying billions in MBS's, juicing the market as hard as they can, with shadow banks running a muck.
Now the Fed has an inflation crisis, and needs to raise rates to stop it, and they can't because the whole system will collapse in on itself if they do.
Oh lawddddddd.

fwiw, idothink it's total horsesh!t and before long, nobody will be able to afford a home other than to rent. that said, it's not about to get better as far as a real correction goes. you're going to see the gap drive even wider imo.

Plus, there has never been a time in history where a bubble was allowed to grow indefinitely.
You think interest rates will stay at zero forever in this current environment?
The Fed is doing everything in their power to keep this transitory lie going. The problem is the longer they put off raising rates the worse inflation is going to become.

Zillow and others need to be regulated. These ****s have screwed the housing market for millions of people.
Secondly, only green card and US citizens should be able to buy and own property.

Rates dropped back down to zero.
It's game over.
