Have any of you moved cross country and started all over again?

Interested in seeing if any of you have taken the plunge. Wife and I are moving to Nevada within the next 6 months from NYC. Sort of anxious to start over again but I know long term it’ll be for the best.

Any brahs with a similar experience that have some words of wisdom?

Yes and it is definitely a fun thing to do. Just become the most outgoing don't give AF version of yourself and make a bunch of connections. People love meeting new people and showing them around or becoming their first friend, so take advantage of it SRS

Yep. Done it 3x

Once with a GF and about 5 years later by myself...then 4 years later with my now wife.

Savannah GA to Kansas City in 2009
Kansas City to a different part of GA 2014
GA to Virgin Islands 2018
VI back to same town we left from in GA 2020

Just YOLO bruh and have fun. Don't have too many expectations, kind of become a "yes man" and do everything, dont hold back and kind of push yourself out of your comfort zone.

I can give more details later, but I don't have the time to type everything out right now.

Just don't be that type of person that says, "Well, back in my old place, we did this.." It is highly annoying. Even if it's your only frame of reference.

also, I moved cities 4 years ago and will be moving across the world with my family in a few months...anxious AF.

i did. in the military, i went from one coast to another, then overseas, then went to florida. as a civilian, i went from florida to hawaii for a job, then from hawaii to CA, then back to hawaii.

been here in hawaii for almost 4 years and have the itch to move again
