Two recommendations for brahs who like Jordan Peterson

Dr Edward Dutton - speaks in a very similar way to Peterson, talks often about big five personality traits, is bigly into IQ. Not politically correct, very based.

Prof Michael Sugrue - has a fantastic series of lectures on youtube about the Western tradition, including the Bible and a history of Western philosophy. Great delivery, speaks concisely and straight to the point unlike Peterson, undeniably far more well read in the subject matter.

Most of you who like Peterson are good brahs, he is a decent stepping stone, he can be either a gatekeeper or a gateway drug, but he is very flawed. I would much rather he were a gateway drug to something better or deeper down the rabbit hole of rejecting the mainstream left. Anything or anyone who is massively popular in current year cannot be the best there is to offer. You really must broaden your horizons.

Do people still like Jordan Peterson? Last I remember his life was in shambles, daughter a massive sloot, and he didn't even practice the stuff he preaches.

He still has a following, and more to the point he is still there for people who have just started questioning things because of corona rather than because of Brexit/Trump back in 2016. My issue is that he is presented and promoted as a gatekeeper but he can be so much more.

That's too generous, he's not even verbose like say Christopher Hitchens, his speech is awkward and disjointed almost to the point of being nonsensical
