Should I get an NFT for 0.25 eth?

I legit cannot understand NFTs, I've read so much chit about them and get how you own it in the sense that the 'code' of the image is yours even if someone else screenshots it but don't get how it gives some of them so much value (unless it's just money laundering like irl art).. Maybe with metaverse bullchit and in-game nfts I can see how they can be used but still not worth thousands or millions of dollars wtf...

Anyways, just cause I don't understand it doesn't mean I can't make money.. I came across a collection of NFTs just recently released, backed by some famous kunts that are starting at 0.25 eth (1000$).. Supposedly I should be able to resell for a lot more.. Is this just a fuking scam or should I try? Losing 0.25eth is not that big of a deal but I don't want to be scammed this easily if it's bullchit..

How's your night going bois?

Mine went great. Lady made some spaghetti finally. Earlier in the day had some stir fried bokchoy, broccoli, snap peas, carrots, with udon noodles. Took my kid to the community track to run off our dinner. Cheeky little guy made a new friend. Some chubby Asian kid lol

Little chubster kept tryna make my kid stop running and go sit somewhere. Saying his feet hurt and wanted a foot massage. Tripped me out hearing a 6 year old saying that. My son kept telling him we don't get tired, we get stronger. Little guy just turned 4 and fuk I was so proud. We had that boy run 6 of our 8 laps until he tapped out to go home. Cool kid honestly. Said he wanted to come out again tomorrow. His mom said he usually only does a lap and then cries to leave.

Good times.

Seems like a gimmick thats gonna die off

Unless buying an nft of an image or song or w.e gives you the exclusive rights to it somehow, this is legit useless.

lots of NFTs have legit utility just like crypto. You can stake them and receive rewards etc

also NFTs like BAYC put you in an exclusive club. If you are a normie that buys a BAYC you will be in cahoots with some high level players.
