The man, Christopher Belter, had pleaded guilty in the sexual assaults of four teens. He faced eight years in prison, but a judge sentenced him to probation instead.

So he committed these crimes as a minor but has been convicted as an adult and is on probation for 8 years and on the sex offenders list.

Before I get outraged have these journalists compared it with other offenders of similar ages in the state?

If he truly abused and raped some women, then that judge fuked up.

But that article doesn't give much detail on the crimes. It sounds like he was a minor himself when this occurred, so it it's not an adult with minors, not sure how it went down though.

What does it matter if the guy was 16 when he raped the girls or 18 when he raped them?

The age of the perpetrator is of zero consequence here, only the actions of the perpetrator. This isn’t a statutory situation.

He needs to die along with the judge.

cant read behind pay wall, so i dont know the details.

i'm so blackpilled when it comes to rape cases these days due to the #metoo movement and the mistreatment of men. women can easily turn regret sex into rape and screw a man's life forever and they get to live on like nothing happened. women have abused the word so much that it no longer has the same meaning anymore

I'm saying the age was 1 component because title says "Man with teens".

The other component is the actual crime. The article doesn't give any specifics though of what actually happened. The guy plead guilty and got off with no prison time. That actually makes me think he was offered a plea deal because the case was weak and he accepted being guilty to not risk prison. which doesn't make him guilty of the actions necessarily since sometimes people will accept a charge they didn't commit if the cost is low enough compared to the risk.

Also third degree rape...so not first or second where force is used, but third degree gets into the muddy waters of needing verbal consent and people being drunk at a party and he said she said type scenarios. And the article doesn't go into detail about what each sides claims were.

Read through some of the stuff about this.

1. He was raised very spoiled. This was used to state he could be rehabilitated with discipline and time.
2. Parents were apparently loaded and let him have parties at their house where he would force himself onto the girls.
3. He was under age at the time, but was considered an adult because he couldn't stop looking at porn.

Not sure what the judge was thinking, this wasn't a case in which the evidence was sketchy and he believed it was wrongful conviction. This was clear cut rape.

And it wasn't just once, it was repeated times. The judge literally said he's at a high risk of re-offending. WTF is anyone thinking not giving this kid jail time?

When you're 16 or whatever, you know you're raping somebody and if you do it more than once you think you can get away with it. I hope this kid gets some serious street justice from the victims' parents.

Oh, well i didn't see those details. Sounds like he definitely should have served prison time then.
