Gary Vee's interview with Zuckerberg about Metaverse



An honest question - do you guys think this is what is going to be our life in 5-10 years? Having work meetings in holograms, workouts with Oculus/AR glasses etc? Chilling out with friends from your couch virtually, drinking beers?

Whilst the tech sounds cool, I don't see myself being an early adopter of this. You can't replace the actual physical presence and human connection with something virtual. It even sounds ominous that people will not travel anywhere anymore and just sit in their homes like Wall-E.

It'll probably take 20 years to indoctrinate an entire generation into living this way and everyone else to be forced to assimilate to keep up with the times.
